Insert an Image
Inserting an image makes use of the Media Library; but first we need to be able to edit the page you want the image on.
Follow steps 1 and 2 of Edit an Existing Page. When you have an editable page on your screen...
1. Position your cursor where you would like the picture to appear.
2. Click on the Add an Image button just above the toolbar.
3. Which you do next depends on if the picture has been inserted into the Media Library yet. I will assume it is a new image and so isn't.
To insert the picture (and add it to the media library) click on 'From Computer' and then 'Select Files'. Navigate to your file, select it and click on OK to upload the picture
4. Once the picture has been uploaded to the media library you should see a progress bar at 100%. Scroll down to fill in information that gets stored with the picture in the media library.
Fill in the fields (only Title is mandatory), select the text flow (alignment options) and size then click on Insert into Post button to insert the picture.
The picture also gets added to the media library.
5. You will now be looking at your editable page with the picture inserted. Click on the Update Page button to save the changes to the page.
If your picture is in the media library, at step 3 click on the Media Library option and select the picture from the list. From there it is a simple case of clicking on the Insert Into Post button.
